Fccla Adviser: Shameka Johnson,

TREASURER: rick pearl,

Welcome to District 4! My name is Makaylia Ray, Vice President of Public Relations from Gray’s Creek High School. It is my pleasure to be one of your 2018-2019 State Officers.

Are you a nature guru? Then you will truly enjoy District 4 and all it offers. From Uwharrie National Forest in Montgomery County to the coastal plains of Columbus County. However, District 4 knows how to party. Come experience the multitude of festivals and fairs throughout Fort Bragg, Cumberland County and Hoke County. Our festival themes range from just a regular “funnel cake” fair to our very own “International Folk Festival” and the “Holly Day” fair. You can also visit the North Carolina Motor Speedway, locally known as “The Rock” in Richmond County. If you are looking for a relaxing atmosphere and a bountiful golf look no further than Moore County, who has some of the nation’s finest golf courses. History runs deep throughout District 4. Harnett and Lee County are best known for their contributions to the NC war effort in the Civil War. Scotland County has multiple cultural institutions you can visit including the Indian Museum of the Carolinas and the Vardell Art Gallery. Last but not least, never leave District 4 before visiting Bladen County, the “Mother of all Counties”
